For people who are still at the title: the centre left is losing to the further left
Oh that changes EVERYTHING
People are pretty sick of Mette Frederiksen and Peter Hummelgaard and the rest of the party, so I sure hope they get as little influence in Copenhagen as possible.
It really seems like almost the entire world is making this fucking mistake… Maybe the “far right” isn’t the same everywhere, at least I sure hope it isn’t, because this looks like it’s going to be “the decade of the far right” everywhere.
Looks like they probably get a mayor from the Green-Left, with a city council mayority of parties to the left of the social democrats.
Polling earlier this month by Megafon for TV2 had the Green Left (Socialistisk Folkeparti, known as SF), the Red-Green Alliance (Enhedslisten) and the Alternative (Alternativet) in a position to form a left-leaning majority without the support of the Social Democrats.
Reading articles before commenting is usually a good idea
I was commenting on the fact that people everywhere are moving to the “far right” more and more which is the case here too, whether they win a majority or not in this case doesn’t change that unfortunate trend.
I don’t know where you see that the far right is gaining support in Copenhagen. It is possible that it happens on a national level, but here it is the case that the leftist parties gained support, and they gained more support than the social democrats lost.
