America has, since inception, been absolutely fine with violence, often celebrating it, and completely disgusted with sexuality. It’s perhaps the single most backwards thing about North American culture, imo.

But what do you expect out of a society whose entire history is “we wanted to go somewhere else, so we came to this place and killed the natives that got in our way.”

It’s fascinating that a country where a place like Hooters is normal and strip clubs are a socially acceptable place to hang out in is so worked up over sex things

But only when it’s consensual. It’s okay when that gets violent and exploitative.

I think that’s changed a bit. Hooters went bankrupt, and many local governments have heavy restrictions on strip clubs, such as no nipples can be shown, no physical contact, no license to serve liquor, etc.

And that just makes the whole deal weirder. No physical contact is reasonable of course. But have a person be practically naked, dancing sensually is fine, unless there’s nipples. Can’t have that, it’s too much.

          The US is very weird.

I think the laws are just meant as a soft-ban. There may be legal complications with outright banning strip clubs. The no physical contact takes away what I think make up stripper’s largest income source, and no nipples and alcohol makes it a less attractive place to go. I had a few hours to waste in a city once, waiting on a flight, and walked into one of these strip clubs. There was only one stripper there, one bartender, and I was the only customer; so I’m guessing it really did hurt the market.

American pop culture is fine with sex as long as it’s not two men:

        ✅ Woman kissing a woman
        ✅ Woman kissing a man
✅ Woman having sex with a woman
✅ Woman having sex with a man
✅ Woman having sex with herself
✅ Man kissing a woman (already covered)
        ❌ Man kissing a man
✅ Man having sex with a woman (already covered)
❌ Man having sex with a man
✅ Man having sex with himself

Not an American, but here’s how I see it: It’s ammo.

To Trump supporters, deporting immigrants is seen as a good thing that he’s doing. But they also usually have a staunch anti-LGBTQ stance. Trump blowing a dude, regardless of if this bubba is or isn’t Bill Clinton, goes pretty hard against their stances. If there’s ever plausible evidence, it might be what makes Trump supporters see him for what he is to the rest of the world: a bumbling, lying idiot.

Putin potentially having such evidence further escalates this into yet another indicator that Trump might be playing his nation into Russia’s hands.

It isn’t the consensual sex, it is the context of Putin potentially having pics and Epstein being fully aware of it and the blackmail that goes along with that. Plus Trump is a fragile narcissist so keeping it in the news is funny.

Also how personal Trump’s hate for Hilary definitely has jealous lover overtones now.

I don’t think anyone but his homophobic followers thinks negatively about the BJ itself.

Its one of 20k+ emails house Republicans released to try to drown out the 3 emails Democrats released related to Trump.

I think they thought they could flood the zone and forgot that Americans can’t afford hobbies right now so we have oodles of free time and AI.

I think it’s the fact that Trump acts and surrounds himself with homophobic people so the idea of him giving head to his enemy he’s openly complained about is hilarious to no end. That and the actual implications with Putin holding the photos over his head.

Thinking that Lemmy is representative of anything besides Lemmy is at least a little funny to me, I’m sorry. If it was a representation of the country, then Putin might have a good shot running for president.

Like always in America, it seems, there is a racist undertone, as the name Bubba is also the African American man that sexually abuses people in prison.

The mail exchange between the Epstein brothers mentiones the film ‘Get Hard’ where a rich businessman prepares for prison by asking his afro American neighbor. The training includes hooking up with a gay person to train on oral sex, but the lead character choses not to go through with that.

Have you seen Bubba’s smirk? It’s unreasonable to expect The Don control his urges when around such a powerful male.

Consent is important. Like, above all else. But also, if a woman wanted to suck my dick, like any time, for any reason, no matter the surroundings… I’m in. Wait, I just gave consent!

The issue is that Americans on the Left would be offended to learn that their political leader was a complete hypocrite, so they assume that Americans on the right would feel the same way. Meanwhile, the truth is that Americans on the Right only pretend to have moral standards, while in actuality, they will simply follow their leaders regardless of what they do.

Hum… They seem to be reacting quite strongly to finding out their leader is a hypocrite.

They just care about him being a hypocrite on different things.

Someone famous, who is surrounded by homophobes and transphobes, was revealed, allegedly, to have engaged in a sex act with another man, with the further suggestion that the president of Russia has the photos and that might explain a few things
