The Trump administration will undoubtedly appeal, possibly all the way to the Supreme Court. But for now, millions of people across the country will not have to make hard choices about how to feed themselves and their families. Several states that had already declared emergencies to tackle the impending crisis will have at least some temporary relief.

I think actual hunger could be a big motivator. Might not happen at first, but the longer that parents have to go hungry so their kids can eat, the more motivated people will get.
It’s not like USAmericans are just inherently meek and peaceful. I don’t think the protests stay peaceful if there’s no food at home.

A police station was burned down in 2020. Several CEOs have been shot since 2024.
I expect violence will happen to a lot of different targets, some undeserving, some deserving.
