Yeah I think Hasan handled the whole thing poorly, that combined with him constantly stereotyping anarchists and vegans to sacrificially throw under the bus have caused me to take a break from his stream for a bit due to bad taste in my mouth. But the whole issue itself was absolutely a manufactured character hit. Too many leftists demand heroes who are virtuous in every conceivable way and get outraged when they’re not, but people like that literally do not exist. Not a single person is like that. I’ll be back to watching Hasan in a bit because while he’s wrong a lot, he’s right a whole lot more. And the more viable left punditry becomes, the more leftist pundits we’ll get to push the social overton window back the other way.
