Eh. The greater punk scene have done a good job of “taking back” armbands over the decades. And baseball caps are fine so long as they aren’t red… or camo.
When I see them out in public I am immediately put on edge, especially when they are red. Sure not everyone who wears armbands are wearing the Nazi one, not everyone who wears a baseball cap is a neonazi. But the overlap is undeniable and they are a red flag when I see someone wearing them. Doesn’t matter if it is the one we all despise or not, still puts you on edge.
But personally? Unless it is a red hat or a camo hat, I just… assume anyone in a hat when it isn’t raining, on a hiking trail, or at a sporting event is a douche nozzle. But not necessarily a magat.
There’s a type of cap that fulfils all the same functions while looking much better. Just search for “mao cap”, they are readily available with or without red plastic stars.
Baseball caps have been completely ruined by maga. Just like how arm bands were completely ruined by the nazis. Also both are red.

Most of us balding millennials wear caps, but not because we’re fascist.
You do you.
