What Google is trying to do does not apply to degoogled ROMs.
On the other hand there are FOSS apps that might just not be viable without the users in the Google ecosystem.
Think for instance of something like Grayjay, which just might be killed by something like this, as it will never be allowed by Google, and won’t survive with just deGoogled users.
