At this point, I’m starting to think that they should have put it in the Constitution that you cannot pardon anybody who you have a social/monetary/business connection to.
It’s almost like pardoning random people is just stupid. You know Obama for example could’ve pardoned Snowden, but didn’t, because Americans would be mad because they don’t know what an actual hero looks like. But what would i gaaaain from that? I need to gaaain something from my mighty pardon. Instead they use it to free pedophiles and racists.
