    Because they know it’ll never actually be tested in reality because they lost. Liberalism is a very idealistic philosophy, so they love their hypotheticals which will never intersect with reality.

      It’s one reason I would’ve loved if Harris had won. Like ya, the less accelerated fascism would also be nice, but also they would’ve had less places to hide.

        They’d just do what they did under Biden unfortunately, and blame Trump and the Republicans for all of the Democrat’s actions, if they even admit that the democrats are doing anything bad at all.

        Or the classic “Sure, our party is pro-genocide, but under Trump the genocide would be even worse!” The best part about living entirely in hypotheticals is it lets you always compare your position favourably to them.
