      it’s a sign of awful times that mis/disinformation like this spreads exponentially faster than any correction or redaction ever could.

      for countless people, the cat is out of the bag regarding the shooter’s “trans ideology”, left-wing views, etc., and many of them will deny any and all information that disproves it.

      and for the same reasons that this malpractice is particularly harmful, these journalists, talking heads, and outlets face little to no repercussion.

        If there’s profit sharing from clicks, then they even financially benefit from it. This shit was spread millions of times across conservative media.

    By tomorrow it will have been revealed that Tyler Robinson is a Varg style neo nazi, then it will be revealed he was in the DSA and was starting to question their gender presentation, then that will be retracted and it will turn out that he’s a Japanese nationalist, then a Ukraine guy, then a fanatical Zionist, then a Portuguese imperialist larper…
