If it was an outsider, it shows some strong, long-term strategic thinking. He heloed prevent DECADES of conservative damage.
On the other hand, he’s been calling for release of the Epstein Files, and with his audience reach, he could do serious damage to Trump. Perhaps the MAGAs figured he’d served his purpose, helped get Trump reelected, and since there aren’t going to be any more elections, his purpose has been served, and his notoriety can be exploited in a different way - as a martyr.
