do it
My go-to
This comic originally inspired my horrible parody of the “What’s This” song in the chapo comm a year ago…
Post it!
okay but...ALL the content warnings, seriously, it's horrendous...
What’s this? I can’t believe my eyes, I must be dreaming, Wake up, Jack, this isn’t fair, What’s this?
What’s this? What’s this? There’s something very wrong, What’s this? The first tower is gone! What’s this? The streets are lined with firefighters screaming, Everybody looks so ashy Have I possibly gone daffy? What is this? What’s this?
There’s glass bits falling slowly and papers torn to shreds, They’re busy climbing stairs but we all know they’re already dead, There’s grey on every window, oh, I can’t believe my eyes, And in my bones I feel the warmth that’s burning from inside~
Oh, look, what’s this? They’ve fallen from windows, they missed? Why that looks so oblique? Inspired! They’re gathering around to watch the second bursting building catch on fire! What’s this?
What’s this? Up there there’s nothing left to see, how weird? And who would ever think? And why? They look so small those tiny little things, They’ve lost all electricity, and there’s a frown on everyone, So, now correct me if I’m wrong, This looks like hell, this looks like hell, Oh, could it be They got their wish? What’s this?
Oh my, what now? The people are missing, But look, there’s nothing underneath, No bodies left, no one to scream and cry for help or hear them, Only melted steal beams, trapped inside their dreamland, ah! What’s this?
I remember that. Top stuff
my proudest work
“Free Parking”
Poor Kevin… his piece de resistance’s ruined…
I’m mainly posting this because of how old it is, remember seeing it right after 9/11. Duality of man: half of the internet started ironyposting, the other half made the most racist Flash animations you’ve ever seen on Newgrounds.
honestly judging every comment in this thread right now because what the fuck are these Facebook-tier 9/11 memes. please please please my hexbears, do better
several of them predate facebook
It’s called tradition and honoring our history. The development of memes as an art form has taken decades and sometimes things were really rough in those years
i’m not disparaging old memes i’m disparaging the tier of memes. by facebook-tier, I meant the kind of meme you’d see shared by someone on Facebook. i.e. an ‘offensive’ meme but not really offensive or even funny. See: the spaghetti 9/11 memes or the cannabis legalized in NYC ones lol.
Lucky Strikes
I wonder when i first saw this image. It feels like it was around before 9/11 at this point in my mind
9/11 memes get funnier every year idk what it is
The guy getting getting perfect 300 in bowling I’ve always wondered what time of day it happened
edit: it was after makes it even better lol https://luke.substack.com/p/the-man-who-bowled-a-perfect-game-c37
Made the mistake of looking at this post on my phone while on the bus and had to stifle my laughter for like 30 minutes
