Nah. They overreached. Putting 1000 people through the courts simultaneously for this is going to be mind boggling bad for the system. They couldn’t even arrest everyone, they were ferrying people back and forwards to custody stations into the wee hours of the morning because the cops didn’t have enough drivers. The courts can’t cope with this shit they’re already backlogged.

None of the cops were happy about doing these arrests. Everyone in the court system will not be either. The whole thing is going to drag like hell and cause disgruntled people at every point along the way.
