For whatever anxiety brain reason, I can’t make myself get to a hairdresser for a trim. I got some good scissors and I’m ready to give cutting my own hair a shot. I fuck up too much, I wear my hair up for work so it’s fine.

My suspicion is I’ll watch some tutorials, decide it’s too much of a hassle, and free of alternatives I’ll go to the hairdresser. Or it’ll be easy enough I save some money from now on.

I found some on my own, but if anyone has used any in particular and likes it, I’d love a rec.

No worries, it fairly straightforward once you get going, just lots of repeating steps and trimming corners.

The only thing that gets tricky for me usually is just how long it takes, but I think that’s probably pretty me specific because I have a silly amount of hair and chronic fatigue issues.

Oh crap, I just noticed I removed a few lines here and there while fixing these instructions up to share publically! The bit about lining up your length markers is very important and I’ve added it back in. Sorry about that!
