      Lots of parks have those free drinking fountains with the bottle-filling function. Schools, hospitals, government buildings, and even Walmarts have them too.

      This is a law everywhere. Free drinking water is one of the few decent things in the us.

      Some places may be hard ass about it, but just go to a fast food place and ask for a water cup. It’ll likely be smaller than a soda cup, but just fill it up again

      most food places maybe. i wouldn’t expect a hardware store to give me a cup of water, but any chain department store type place has a water fountain somewhere
