President Donald Trump and Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy have called the project, first approved by California voters in 2008, a “train to nowhere.”
Not that it would be built anytime soon or with his steel tariffs, but it’s a shitty thing to do.
If Trump can kill that bullet train project it’s probably best for everyone even if it’s accidental on his part.
