          That’s just everyone in the more well-off parts of Europe. When seasonal Romanian migrants first started appearing in places like Helsinki, people were melting down over how they were making their nice Nordic city look like a third-world country and how “shitholes” like Romania should have never been let into the Union

        Eoin O’Duffy, leader of the fascist-inspired and anti-Semitic Blueshirts in the early 1930s and a co-founder with James Dillon of Fine Gael, had spoken against Travellers, describing them as an ‘unworthy class’ at a Longford County Council meeting (Gmelch 1986: 53).
