There’s a good chance many of us will be unable to get the vaccine this year.
Their bottom line: Going forward, Covid-19 vaccines will only be recommended for people over 65 or with at least one chronic condition. If manufacturers want to offer updated vaccines to younger adults, they must run a new placebo-controlled trial after a variant arrives. Their rationale is that, given higher levels of population immunity, the original trials are no longer relevant. Vinay followed up by saying, “This is a restoration of trust. It’s bringing us back to evidence.”
We have to be strong and remember we’re in this together. Continue to organize. Demand that your orgs adopt disease mitigation practices in absence of these lifesaving vaccines. Educate others. Protect our young, old, and disabled comrades. A better world is possible.

This is not true btw
It also doesn’t make any fuckin sense.
Small town texan started getting measles vaccine for their babies again, because heard immunity doesn’t work

The dominant variant shifts every 3-6 months.
Yep, they’re choosing their language carefully so gullible libs will go along with it, but this is about banning vaccines entirely.
If you weren’t already masking still it’s definitely time to start again
I wish I could say this to people in my life without it being met with a massive sigh…

One of those chronic conditions is depression. I for one am deeply depressed at the politicization of medicine in our country.
Jokes on them I already have long covid
Wish masks didn’t fog up my glasses so much. Anyone know how to fix that?
There is stuff you can get to coat your lenses. You spray it on, let it dry, and for a few months your lenses won’t fog up at all, from anything. It’s pretty sick
Need a good seal, and I’ve found if you get the top of the mask under the bridge of the glasses, it fogs a lot less.
I’ve heard n95 3m aura masks seal well thanks to thick foam on the bridge of the nose. Keep your glasses atop that and you should be good. They cost more than the kn94/95 but you can re-use them half a dozen times each as long as you give them a rest of 4-5 days between uses. That’s really the only solution, a good seal which is really helped by a strong seal on the nose which is achieved with thick flexible foam and metal and proper fitting of the mask the first time (and tamping down the nose piece properly in place each additional time you wear).
i use these with glasses, no fogging issues. Aura 9210 is the one you want, the straps are better
