I think it’s good for certain secret lairs and sets like kamigawa. But it was definitely a miss for me in the past few instances. Especially jumpstart and eldraine. I remember the feeling of opening a sweet [[sneak attack]] only to realize the art was some anime husbando 😅

Okay so we have spoiler season now for next year already. Then why anime style? I think most people don’t want anime art.
Just because you do the want them doesn’t mean most people don’t. Anime alt arts always sell really well, that’s why they keep doing it
