Is an individual final fantasy play booster intended to be the same price as aetherdrift? Sorry for the basic question, but it’s hard to find clear info online.

No, Universes Beyond boosters normally have a higher MSRP.

Thank you, that is actually really interesting especially from a store owner.

I am guessing Tarkir will be the same as Aetherdrift.

Yes, someone in that Tumblr thread posted that Aetherdrift’s pricing will be the norm for “in-universe” sets. I guess the UB sets will be something like $6.99 for a play booster, and $37.99 (!!!) for a collector booster.

I don’t get it honestly. $40 for a booster is like more than I pay for my whole family for pizza night lol. What are we doing here, people. I would love to know actually what those loose booster pack sales are like at that rate. $450 for a CB box, I thought $225 was high! It’s 12 boosters people, that’s like 15 minutes of cracking.

I remember when I splurged one time on a NEO CB box. I would only open 3 packs a night to try and extend the value out. $450 is just a non-starter. What do they do for UB sets in the future that don’t have the pull that FF has? Mark down over and over and over?
