No, shareholder interest, which - in the absence of the clear desire of the majority shareholder(s) - is assumed to be profit. So I think the question above is quite important actually

Maybe I’m being overly generous here, to me the user just sounded frustrated with the boundaries of civil discourse masking but not solving a problem. I assumed the problem was self-evident/they weren’t denying it.
To me that feels like a call for more action, not less. It’s all too easy to pretend something isn’t happening when the verbiage around it becomes more palatable (exactly what dog whistles are for).
But again, maybe I’m being too generous.
What bothers me here is that one of you got downvoted into oblivion, the other got upvoted just as much, and from where I’m standing, it seems like both of you are on the same side.
You my friend have a desecration kink, closely related, but not necessarily paired with a degradation kink. Easy litmus test in a less religious context - does the fact that you’re doing that to someone’s daughter/son actually kinda turn you on?
What? No they don’t. Unless “had” is the operative word there.
No one’s doing anything about it now and everyone knows it’s happening (no one’s meaningfully denying it, some people are just secretly fine with it). Why would an expose spelling it out after the fact change anything? We’ve done this dance before unfortunately.
The man’s talking about class differences in general though. Pretty sure those predate us apes even knowing there were other different colored troops.
Either way it kind of feels like a bit of a chicken and egg discussion. Were we hierarchical animals first, then leveraged arbitrary and irrelevant traits to enforce that hierarchy, or vice versa.
To me it’s really simple. You adress class issues -> you adress “culture war” issues (those disproportionally impacted get disproportionately addressed, as they should be). You address “culture war” issues -> shitshow ensues.
I know what I’m gonna focus on.
Idk man, I feel like there were definitely a couple
But what if your hard to explain kinks damn near kill you?
I’ve only really spent 2 minutes looking at the man’s wikipedia page to check for any obvious clues but I couldn’t find any.
Sauce for him being a fascist please? Because that’s a pretty heavy accusation to throw at someone, living or dead.
The trouble with that is that it shows a certain amount of respect
You know, you may have just changed my mind
This reads to me like a fairly leftist meme though, just more on the classical Marxist side.
Not missing it, just not addressing it. The topic wasn’t of particular interest from that angle. Not to me anyway.
It’s not that I dislike the word liberated, it’s that it’s completely inaccurate in this case, and those kinds of inaccuracies do have consequences, however slight at first.
Defeated is a good word. Invaded is another. Liberated isn’t.
Let’s get one thing straight, Germany was not liberated, it was defeated.
Of course we can say not all… But that’s a sociological tautology.
It’s exactly this kind of west = good silent premise that’s making us miss what’s beginning to brew over there again now that things are getting tough. Just like it did last time.
I’m not saying Germans are evil, but we need to be careful with this kind of subtle revisionism. I suspect you didn’t even say it intentionally - it’s just a phrase that’s often used around you, and that’s what makes it doubly dangerous.
Nothing against you man, I’m just a tad disenchanted with the current state of things is all.
Thank you for the chuckle kind stranger
That pun requires more tiki torches and a bit of inbreeding
Plus it irritates the skin less cause you only really need 1-2 passes (shaving with those multi blade razors takes ages and 3-5 passes in my experience if the hair is anything beyond 1 mm long). Remember to rinse the blade every 1-2 passes too.
