G-Rank started in Monster Hunter G on PS2. The PS2 was not well known to have paid DLC.

i remember when the hundreds of hours of monster hunter came from the content on release. G-rank was the endgame, not $60 dlc that came a year or two later. I always wished monhun would become more mainstream but now i’ve eaten my words.
slam-blasted!
i just used a dropper to drip a drop. I was trying to get the shmutz UNDER the button to clean up a bit because I have to press them at awkward angles multiple times to turn it on/off and volume up.
I’m a little sad but to be honest the only thing I’ve used more than this lil’ guy is my 3DS. It just sucks that of everything that could happen to it, me trying to clean it is what (potentially) ruined it.
it leaves residue on the shell. or it has in the past. but that typically comes off with use. Not that the inside is going to get any use haha
Maybe an hour before that pic. it’s hard to see from my normal viewing angle so I’m bummed but it’s better than a brick. I have it off and hopefully drying but I’ll check back in on it in a day or two.
Mind sharing how you went about modding that oled Switch?? I’ve been interested but too busy to look into reputable places to have it done.
thanks, bookmarked for when it goes on sale. none of my hardware is acceptable enough for the specs.
Can it play MH Wilds?
someone showed this to my chickens and now the entire coop is covered in 1/2 mashed bananas.
I’ve been wanting this for YEARS. It’d give you something to do between content patches if you’re a no-lifer like me.
I thought I was way too high. Holy shit, thank you.
Anyone: “My issue is-“
Me: “Is you is or is you ain’t mah babeh?”
Yuuup, Palworld was a rare early access buy for me. Burned too many times but a sale burnt a hole in my pocket after holding off for years and I got curious, I knew what I was getting into haha
I guess you could be right. I don’t know enough about chip repairs I just figured mechanical parts would be easier to find and replace than a cartridge.
Nah, not complaining, idly wondering. I made my bed, I’ll sleep in it, I’m just wondering how far a game can go to change a game and still claim it’s the same game.
I wonder how much of this game they can force them to change. I know Steam has a 2 hour limit for returns but at what point does this game become “not the game I bought”?
1000% it does. But if your tires wear out you can buy new tires. If a chip wears out in your game boy color cartridge, are you going to replace it? Is there a shop you can bring your old PS2 disc to that can restore lost data?
Edit: I think a bike is a flawed analogy because you can repair a bike. You can’t repair an old physical game if it breaks. You can buy a replacement in both cases, until there are no longer bikes or no longer copies of old games still functioning and I’ve got a hunch that bikes are going to be around a lot longer than any physical media.
With a caveat - you need to share an ip address with the user at some point. A friend of mine logged into Steam on a pc in my house to get around that issue but my brother (who’s 1400 miles away) joined my family with no issues because we lived together at some point a decade ago.
I’ve said the same about Ground Turkey for years.
