  • I don’t think the recommendation is about knowing the rules.

I think it’s recommended that Dark Urge is only played after your first play through because something with the character is going to drastically change the story and your decisions. Just judging from the name alone it sounds like you’re going to have to fight against the character to make decisions in the game that aren’t evil or what not.

  • I wish they would as well but the cable deals are so insanely lucrative. The TEAM collects like 5-7 dollars per cable subscriber PER MONTH. It’s basically a tax on the city. Just picking a random number but like say 80% of subscribers don’t watch a baseball game any given month. They’re still paying 5-7 bucks for the privilege.

It’s a system that could ONLY exist under cable monopolies. There’s no way they’ll ever have such a sweet deal if people have to willingly go out of their way to pay for streaming.

  • Lol I’m kind of the same. I LOATHE Office and I hate having to use LibreOffice. I have nothing against LibreOffice per say. I just feel every time I open an office suite for work which I do a lot, that it’s the least efficient way of doing things. Though obviously your average use wouldn’t get by with anything else.

I do appreciate Libre Calc. I like that it’s a true spreadsheet without trying to tack on a billion features like tables etc. I use it for csv files often.

  • It’s not really a full on roguelike. You do “upgrade” weapons as you use them, so when you die it’s not a complete loss. Also once you beat a boss you never have to fight them again if you don’t want to. You just make it through three areas (3 bosses each), and then you unlock the next 3, but you don’t have to start from the very beginning for the last 3.

Maybe it helps if you think of it as an arcade version of a soulslike game? Play it in 30 minute increments, don’t stress about beating it and naturally you’ll get better enough to beat it.

The story and setting is pretty unique and awesome as well.
