Isn’t NEET just a fancy way of saying “unemployed”? Most unemployed are not supported much by their parents.

These people aren’t disabled, they are entitled. NEET is a choice
Just because NEET anons often post stories about how they beat the system, doesn’t mean that’s actually the reason why they’re NEET. The label NEET is a choice, but being longterm unemployed typically isn’t. Considering how people act towards the unemployed and people with chronic health issues in general, I straight-up don’t believe that you have “seen it with your own eyes”.
Where? They completely neglect to mention their sleeping arrangements. Sleeping on the street doesn’t really fit in with the “I beat the system” story that anon is telling us. I do assume that’s part of the joke, though.
Good luck with those SF rent prices Ü

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•In a state that offers legal aid is it worth it? Or is it pretty much the bottom of the barrel for defense and compensation?
41·24 hours agoWorth what? You aren’t paying them anything (unless your state’s rules are really fucked up). They’re definitely better than you defending yourself.

5·24 hours agoIronic.
The luddites were right. It’s not about the technology, it’s about how it’s used, and people are definitely not using LLMs, facial recognition etc. responsibly right now.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Do people really give a shit on what a US President wear? I just see from time to time that they bring up the Tan Suit Incident with Obama. What is or was the big deal? I slept since then.

Need to add some sliced sugar beet, sugarcane or corn.

Europe@feddit.org•Neo-Nazi Party Member Loses Close Mayoral Race in German TownEnglish
7·2 days agoThe party ban process wouldn’t need a new law, it’s a judicial process - the only thing missing is the parliament saying “go”. And this neo-nazi party is pretty unsubtle. The only risk is that the courts decide that they can’t ban the party (e.g. because there might be too many government spies in the party).
Or, as the article says:
In 2017, the highest German court rejected a petition to ban the party because it concluded the party was too unpopular to damage German democracy, even if it tried.
That said, I do agree that the conservative party acts unconstitutional quite often. They just don’t say out loud how much they disagree with the constitution.

Wealth has a way of multiplying, though. Assuming the family is above a certain threshold of wealth, second sons still receive an education and typically get lucrative jobs, expensive gifts etc. that should set them up well.
Subs, Japanese voice actors just have a completely different style. And I’d probably need subs for English dubs anyway (like I do for English-language live action movies/shows), because English is not my native language, so there’s barely an advantage.
According to the bible, Eva is the literal second human and first woman and IIRC lived for hundreds of years, so no, she’s not normal or real.
What non-Christian believes in hell?
Actually, my kitchen is separate with a door and everything. I’d count it as a “real” room if it was large enough for a table.

Students aren’t typically counted as “unemployed”, though that’s different from country to country.
