I think my TV only supports it on port #1, and I had to enable it on the Xbox. But yeah it’s definitely a newer TV thing.
I have my TV offline, connected to my Xbox, with HDMI-CEC enabled.
When I turn on the Xbox, it automatically turns the TV on, which goes to my last used input (the Xbox). From there I can launch whatever streaming apps I want.
I know I have to deal with Microsoft’s nonsense too, but at least the performance is good and it shows the most recent app at the top of my home page.

+1 for Newpipe, it’s amazing. I can’t imagine watching YouTube without it at this point. It’s basically YouTube premium but free, and with some extra features like channel groups. Oh and no sign-in.
Start page is pretty good. From my understanding it uses Google Search Results, just without user-specific results obviously
Anyone have any good extensions for hiding ad blockers from sites? Can ublock origin do it natively?
