i thought at first it was those serious banana faces; but after SubArcticTundra pointed it out, maybe its the art style. serious, old-timey-looking painting with old-men-faced bananas
simply bananas but why do they seem nightmare-inducing to me?

very well said. you perfectly explained how it feels when every decision you make ‘will not make a difference anyway’. some would say, isnt that indifference; i would argue no, more like helplessness and hopelessness. how much mental energy are you going to spend on someone continents away when you can barely survive in your own society.

im using memmy and thunder. i would like to try the other apps on my ogse but they all require the latest iOS. i also like pixelfed but could only browse it using pixeldroid in android because of the same reason.
if its not unreasonably difficult, i hope devs will consider compatibility with older systems as some of us are not using the latest iphones.

on a more serious note, Chinese vessels have also been reported to harass Philippine fishermen (who obviously cannot fire back. and sadly, were told to shut up by the Chinese-loving previous administration)
slide (ios) has the best interface among the foss 3rd party apps for reddit. was surprised that it looked different in android so i used infinity there, which isnt as nice.
