Hey, I updated recently and it seems like it’s now fixed for me on X with driver version 565.77
(not that it’s necessarily the exact fix version, and it may be a systemd fix too).
Hey, I updated recently and it seems like it’s now fixed for me on X with driver version 565.77
(not that it’s necessarily the exact fix version, and it may be a systemd fix too).
Undiagnosed (aside from TTT at home) EDS/POTS here (mild), I biked enough to notice a difference but I didn’t hit the point where it aligned with this post (maybe because I don’t really sweat, stress on my body changes the effect?). Even with inactivity, muscle loss is not an issue for me.
Though the biggest issue with cycling for me is that I don’t really have (m)any destinations, distance makes most trips not viable for what they are (particularly factoring in return trip) or add complication when it comes to hours or weather. Daylight savings ending combined with shorter days ruined it for me, too.
A new YT video by a chemist (NY66qpMFOYo, go to 6:35) just came out highlighting that the acidity causes sucrose to invert into 50:50 glucose:fructose over time anyways, so it makes even less sense. And there’s more sodium.
I like Isomaltulose (glucose-fructose with a stronger bond, making it metabolize slower) but it’s expensive and not as sweet. Though maybe other types of sweeteners could be used like this, perhaps in combination for a better flavor profile.
My assumption here is that sugar would need to be dissolved, mixed, and emulsified with more care/difficulty than hfcs. Though if there is any issue here it might not be present until a product has sat on the shelf (or in your house) for too long. Also for gritty, I was thinking more for something like ketchup or other sauces.
I’m also not saying this is a fault of sugar itself, but that hfcs allows highly sweetened products to be produced more easily (which may present said issue if high sugar content is kept 1:1 despite no longer using hfcs).
Agreed, but I have doubts that this will be a massive improvement if the same amount of other sugars are used. I’m sure some things would reduce sugar to fit with production, but if some foods just became gritty (or, soda with sugar sinking to the bottom) I would not be shocked.
Particularly because that seems like the easy-but-wrong-answer. Not that “maybe we shouldn’t make sugar cheaper than water” and “food doesn’t need to be loaded with sugar to taste good” should be unpopular opinions.
I am similar, though for me I’d say it’s more of a personality disorder (SzPD) which also makes socialization a dilemma (it’s a term). Though I live somewhere without much to do (+no public transportation), particularly because I have no interest in driving.
Though I lack skills/money, plus have untreated health issues and likely depression.
It feels eerily similar to leaving the house and never having a reason to actually talk to anyone (that’s also me living on the edge of Nowhere).
Slightly better chances here I guess. I’d say it feels more sparse here but I guess thinking back other platforms either had similar results or other issues.
Yes, because of the over-the-top “personally traveled” bit… and it’d likely end with DMCA.
Though looking at just one list of Nintendo’s mass takedown of free fan-games, it seems very likely* it directly resulted in many children being terribly upset (and maybe thinking they’ll be sued/jailed)… even if they made their own assets, just because they included a trademarked term in the title/description for something they just wanted to share with their friends. (I’m sure many did use assets, but we are likely talking about decades-old material here)
So it’s not that big of a stretch, it’s just not guaranteed that we’d hear this much about it.
*= judging by FNAF/sonic crossovers, content/spelling of titles, creepypasta stuff, and likely terrible art if you can still find more than a URL

Aside from a last resort, for what purpose?
I would rather go the opposite direction: brain stays (mostly) stock but supported by multiple other forms of life. Much more of a gut microbiome, harmless viruses etc add to immune system, mycelium network, microbiome automatically cleans surface.
Swap resources with a tree, filter contaminates from air/water or produce organic compounds, photosynthesis in larger tanks (stationary) or luminescence in organic gel (body).
That’d still just be a copy.
And sounds like “I like the idea of ai, but I want something even less ethical.” Unless it is highly specialized to the point of non-sapience. “Existence? Look buddy, I cook and that’s it. I can contemplate the life cycles of ingredients and I do my best to have a safe kitchen, but beyond that I don’t have the information to think about it.”
[ ✔️ ] Willing to convert, but into a cyborg because the distinction is important… but if I’m being honest I’m basically a defective organic robot, so if you put my canned brain into a metal body with a digital voice I would be indistinguishable from a robot.
That leaves out how public opinion changed after motive was known.
The assassination brought the many social issues with the Unification Church under the spotlight again, as well as tumbled the approval of the ruling party. Under the public pressure, the responsible ministry decided to file a dissolution order against the UC with the Tokyo District Court on 13 October 2023, after nearly a year of investigation of wrongdoings
Japanese people cosplaying Yamagami’s appearance during Abe’s assassination were spotted at events like the rally against Abe’s state funeral. These cosplayers held cardboard signs displaying the leaders they were against: Abe, Ali Khamenei, Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping
It’s probably that you have a similar or even shared microbiome. Similar living conditions, or maybe your vibes/rythms just sync up over time.

I check a lot of those boxes but have never had many points on most websites. The difference I think is that I don’t often make posts/threads (comments alone usually don’t get as many views/points, posts may get thousands of points).
Those with the most points often make posts multiple times an hour (often a dozen posts in a day) particularly if they become “known” for some theme/gimmick (which may add to ego). Also at that point they likely have parasocial users backing up their ego and buffoonery.
I don’t know if any of those “no life” people are behind this or not. I suspect people posting like this, especially when it is blog-like (their job, some other interaction) are likely normal outgoing people who just have their phone with them to post whenever they have a spare moment. It may even be a similar archetype to “influencer” (one unlikely to show their face) especially if they are saving many things ahead of time to post later. That, and the inevitable monetization even if it’s just gifts/favors from strangers.
If you go to their instance you’ll see that is does list it in users’ profiles (Reputation points).
Why are you the way that you are?
(And why is your account all tech and now… this?)
Yes, spring of 2444 with my brain in a jar.
