In 5 years, there needs to be a brave sitcom made about a person just going around and experiencing “normal” things. Set in 2007, “Normal Things” will be the parody that catches the zeitgeist in a way that previous attempts failed.
Instead of being a serious documentary, it will be a serious comedy.
No laugh track, wisecracks or gags.
The sheer absurdity of it will be divisive, many will simply not get it.
But it will be a bold statement on the reality of daily life, winning a Tony for its stage interpretation, and the lead actor becoming a meme in the format of the new little stickers (that move!) smartphone chat apps let you attach in response to messages.
Thanks for listening to my elevator pitch.
It’s like that saying, “a watched pot never boils”. Things only happen when you’re not watching an internet.
brand diversification is not the diversity that I like to see in my star treks.
On a black and white tv, too. Somehow.
Yet another piece of evidence that
protestvotes do nothing but help those who are up to no good.
Because these mutherfuckers don’t get seats on the hype train, they buy the entire carriage.
we’re not all americans, here
just let the algorithm feed you the cultural gruel
Thanks for contributing information about your underrepresented country
commanding a legitimate place in the band
Incidentally, clock faces are often set to 10:10 when on display as it bears a resemblance to a smiling human face. Triggering our innate response to feel positive emotions towards that… …clock. Anyway, if 10:10 is strap-on time, that might well be why the clock is smiling, after all.
I know you’ve basically spelled it out by using MPH and by simply being on the internet, but you might want to make it clear which country you’re in. I mean, where I’m living, it’s 100% ok for you to be in a bike line. Legally and socially speaking. But I doubt we’re in the same place right now!
Paying a higher amount in rent than a mortgage would be is not making living affordable. They’re exploiting the fact that many people can’t access credit or afford to make a required down payment/stamp duty/legal fees, etc. up front.
Going down fractionally, after having grown an incredible amount in the last 3 years. Please don’t swallow this obvious bullshit. Prices are high, prohibitively high, and are going to stay that way until everyone bar a few is forced to rent.
You could just buy a house.
Can you just step back from the keyboard and realize how stupid what you’ve just said is?
My mistake, I misread your question
There are more reasons than I have time to type out, but I am a long time mac and iDevice user. What’s got me raging lately is how, out of spite over a (justified, imo) EU ruling, apple is refusing to let EU customers access the newest toys in the playground. I’m in the process of transferring over to Android right now, I just havent found the right phone for me, yet.
