I totally understand. I have been in similar situations as well. That is good that they are willing to give you whatever resources you need to get the job done. Unfortunately it also seems like you are the what we call the “single point of failure” as well, which means all the project knowledge is in your head. So with out you the project is pretty much just dead. That is a good spot to be in for job security but a terrible place to be for work/life balance.

My suggestion would be to escalate the project delivery date as a risk every single meeting and in every communication that you send on the subject. Also escalate that you are the single point of failure and that situation needs to be remedy ASAP. That way you are covering your rear end if the dates slip and the deliverables are not ready or not as expected.

I’d recommend telling the project manager exactly that. Ask him to schedule working sessions with you to start getting the project plan started. That way you can answer any questions they have during the meeting, and if not you two can note that as an action item for one of you to figure out. That first plan doesn’t have to be perfect just a draft that’s good enough to start seeing general resources needs and timeframes for those resources.

Your project manager is your friend as long as you are honest and upfront about what you require to accomplish your job.

As long as Trump doesn’t see the inside of a cell I don’t think he, or his supporters, will care about that piece of the pardon.

The unfortunate reality is we choose this. There is no one else to blame but our own complacency.

Or instead of saving the world you and your group fail, your group is now considered terrorists, and the knee jerk reaction of those in power removes more of the people’s freedoms and oppresses them more, all in an effort to ensure that little uprising doesn’t happen again.

I agree something needs to be done, but it’ll have to be done with elections and legislation that protects that progress from being dismantled by the next party that might not agree with that change.

Sustainable change is a slow process. Sometimes that process is so slow you might not see the results in your lifetime.

Because most of us are relatively comfy and we’re so focused on surviving the day, week, or month (if you’re really lucky), that we don’t have time to even consider the effort needed to organize and focus on overthrowing those in power. The system working as designed.

Yep, there are two endings I know of for sure where V survives. I believe they added another V survives ending after the Phantom Liberty DLC. They all might not be the happiest of endings but V lives.

There are endings in cyberpunk where V survives.

Rumor has it that HL3 or some other single player HL game is currently in the works!
