Encountered this in a prerelease yesterday. Is a 6/6 for 4 just normal these days? (potentially ramped too)

Thanks for the suggestion!
CardTrader seems like another interesting option. I haven’t tried it yet but the idea seems to be that sellers ship ordered cards periodically to CardTrader warehouse, and then you can have them shipped to you in bulk. This is a proper package though so it will cost around 20€. Probably not worth it for a few cheap cards, but on the other hand shipping costs from multiple letters will add up too.
Ohh so these are reprints from some select list?
Yeah consistency in a deck/collection is nice indeed
Ohh so the fancy foils have less problems?
Bending immediately sounds quite extreme…
Special arts are indeed a nice non-curly option for a flashy card. (Until that’s a foil too ^^ )
Searchability is an interesting practical aspect
Thanks for the heads up! I’m fairly conservative when it comes to cosmetics, but these do pack some charm ^^
Personally I’m tempted by cards whose theme touches my other interests. E.g. tea.
There are actually surprisingly many, but luckily they don’t tend to be particularly rare ^^
Do you catalogue all your cards or just the more important ones?
Yeah relying solely on an online DB would seem quite reckless.
Nice finds, Thanks!
Scryfall does have tags for Surreal/Surrealism, but it hardly feels complete. I’m also not sure if MC Escher-inspired cards count as surrealism, but if so that would include things like Bootlegger’s Stash.
I didn’t realize that scryfall had art filters as well. Still seems to find quite a few.
A lot of the art on the Duskmourn Archenemy cards play around in a similar space.
What’s the story of these Scheme cards? They don’t seem to be legal anywhere.
Lastly a lot of individual mill cards seem to have pretty surreal art, like Tome Scour, Millstone, Fraying Sanity, Sweet Oblivion, Mystic Redaction, or Fractured Sanity
Ohh this is interesting! A pattern emerges. The og millstone too.
I really dig the artwork! Are there more surrealist/absurd cards? (Given the sheer numbers, I’m guessing yes)
Still both are getting all the new cards and such?

What’s even the point of TCP? Just use UDP with PLC!

Interesting considerations, thanks! Yeah I think I’ll just go and get some.
Hah yes of course there’s that ^^
