It’s nearly like religion and donations should be kept out of politics…
Holy shit, there’s a whole bunch of people doing some real tea leaf shit here attempting to read far too deep in to your post. I agree, I’m currently abroad in a completely different culture, but you know what. I eat, sleep and poop. Sure there’s other shit around the side, but the structure of the day is the same. Theres no magical “aha” moment / key. Life is simple (for those able to see beyond tomorrow), it is what you make of it.
I would have agreed with you re: reduction in gum chewers. But it looks like most forecasting documents and historical trends demonstrate growth in consumption. Granted I’ve only had a quick lookm https://www.databridgemarketresearch.com/reports/global-chewing-gum-market
If that’s the case, that’s understandable. It’s always going to be a game of cat and mouse, so Id expect it’s quite an expensive market to break in to.
Which vpn have you found to work in china? Nord used to but doesn’t any more
At the cost of likely downvotes
women must wear Islamic clothes, can’t go to school for long, can’t go out alone, etc etc
As an outsider, this is literally what I expect America to be like in 10 years
Interestingly, I imagine this man would not even get basic security clearance with this level of debt and high risk of being manipulated (by others offering to pay debt). Yet he’s still a candidate for president, interesting…
Yeah, some other systems are government backed loans that are 0% interest but rise with CPI (inflation) yearly. It sounds like there needs to be some significant regulation around the US study loan process
Is there any change in the future? Say 5 years from now, will people still get their loans forgiven, or is this only a snapshot payment ?
I was looking at the later number 138b for 3.9m people. That’s nearly 35k per individual?
That’s a lot of money for not many people. What’s the general consensus about it ? I’d be curious if perhaps they paid half of the student debt, or forced a 0% interest rate or something if that would still make a difference without such a huge sum of moolah
Ehh, these summary bots aren’t great…
You’d think that… it sunk the Australian government when they tried to implement it 10-15 yrs ago
The British museum was set up to preserve artifacts which would have been looted or destroyed,
This is fairly disingenuous. If the sole purpose was to preserve artifacts, then they would be happy to return said artifacts to original owners once shown they can appropriately store and maintain them. That is clearly not the case. I think your definition of “legally purchased” may be a little creative. Sure they may have paid money through a trader… but there definitely was not due diligence, it’s basically an old cash converters.
a seven-year-old girl at the European Gaza hospital who was suffering from 75% burns, but unable to receive pain relief
Jesus Christ, that’s horrific.
Hang on… It’s not ?
