Here in ky, to nobody’s surprise, we have some Republican bullshittery.

Prop 1 adds wording to the state constitution that makes it illegal for all non-US citizens to vote… Which is already the State law. Vote NO.

Prop 2 is a doozie - enables the state to funnel public funds to charter schools under the guise of “educational freedom” or some bullshit like that. HARD NO on that one!

These are all good points, but it’s really not that complicated. Imagine if there were only two NFL football teams. The right are simply die-hard fans of their team and nothing will sway them to change their allegiance to the other side. Nothing.

Policy doesn’t mean shit to them.

The Constitution doesn’t mean shit to them.

Upholding a democracy doesn’t mean shit to them.

As long as “their team” wins, that’s all that matters. That’s are not smart people we’re dealing with here.

His judgement, sentencing and punishment satisfy the needs of the law. the law has done it’s part (arguably terribly in this case) and is at rest.

This is vastly different than the judgement bright forth by the court of public opinion. They are not so forgiving.
