I gave it the old college try about 6 months ago. Found out how to send the req for a subnet to my ISP. Configured my opnsense. When it worked, it worked. But it would randomly stop routing regularly. After a lot of troubleshooting determined it was the isp and have up.

Maybe I’ll try again in another 6 months.

A similar game I really enjoy is Beneath Oresa.

I started playing Firewatch a while back and then got distracted. I recently picked that back up on my Steam Deck.

On the PC I’m playing Remnant 2 with my kid. I’m not into soulslikes but it’s not bad when there’s 2 of us.

I’ve also started playing Palworld to see what all the fuss is about. It is amazingly derivative. It’s like Ark and Pokemon had a baby with maybe some fortnite sprinkled in.

It doesn’t? My deck has shader updates for nearly every installed game every time I touch it.

Sins of a Solar Empire is one of my all time favorites.

I’m legitimately asking. Why does that matter? What do you do with a tablet where it makes a tangible difference?

I always find this conversation fascinating and it makes me wonder in what other ways people may experience the world differently.

I do have a constant internal monologue. Every word I read is spoken in my mind. My thought process is, to my awareness, me talking things out in my head.

So much this. People seem to generally be fine here (I never found the reddit communities I interacted with to be toxic) but heaven forbid you purposefully use Windows or pay for software.

There was that old Voyager fps, Elite Force, that kicked ass.

I put a stupid amount of hours into Starfleet Command. Probably my all time favorite. I’m the kind of person who geeks out on power and shield management.

I played a lot of Sins of a Solar Empire and I mention that because there was a cool Star Trek mod for that game I played for a bit.

Lastly, I played STO for a couple years. Loved the story and space combat but man the ground missions a slog. Still I enjoyed that game a bunch.

I feel like I’m missing something but I can’t think of any more.

This really felt like the NMS engine rethemed. As much as I love NMS I hope this game has more story/direction.

I just want to chime in that I agree with you. The number of people who are browsing “all” on a large server like Lemmy.world and then complaining about content they don’t want to see is way too high.

You don’t want to see it, don’t browse “all” or accept that someone does want to see that content.

If you think it’s the “will of the people” petition your server admin to block it. Or move to a server where it’s blocked.

You don’t need to shit on this guy because you don’t like their project. It’s easily avoidable.
