I’m gonna throw in this for you: have you considered a VR headset like Quest? I watch YouTube pretty much exclusively on mine. If you like to watch stuff in bed, you won’t mess your neck, too.

The “fixed” board is still noisy, but the volume goes quiet very quickly if no sound is being reproduced. You still hear crackling but at least it falls off instead of always persisting.

I am no engineer, but I suspect the audio is not shielded enough. Perhaps oled uses more current than led? I noticed the noise corresponds to the amount of motion on the screen.

Many oled models have serious audio issues. Speakers and bt audio work fine, but the 3.5 mm jack is noisy. If this happens, you open a ticket right away, send it back and they will replace sound board for you. I got mine done. It’s better, but not perfect.

Reality TV is a style of presentation, not a type of content. Many of these shows and contests are as scripted as normal dramas, comedies and procedurals - only filmed in a style reminiscent of a documentary.

Just like US won on air travel, health insurance and all other wonderfully deregulated industries.

I loved the original games on c64 and atari800. I could never get into any of the reboots, remakes and restarts that used hi-def graphics. I think there is something lost when going away from repeating tiles and into polygons. Would love to see a remake using beautiful modern pixel art instead

There is little point in refusing it. The biometrics are already in the database - the scan uses them to let you in without using your passport. Refusing to use the system will not take your data out of the database.

It’s crazy how conservatives adopted the whole Unnecessary Capitalization and you can tell the intention of the copy just by looking for it. The same goes for all caps emphasizing IMPORTANT words, not present here, but common in headlines, tweets and other messaging coming from them.

Of course it is. First of many. The price will keep rising, since currently Microsoft is losing money on it. The number of games will decrease, the price will keep going up, the users will cancel, rinse and repeat.

I keep wanting to love Hades but keep bouncing off it. It has all characteristics of what is want - great art, good story, solid voice acting… I think I am not into the combat mechanics though. Diablo, at least I would enjoy until I finished all the story and quests…

Blue Prince is an awesome game, but it confirmed for me that I can’t stand roguelikes. Any game that’s based on repetitive loop where you do the same thing over and over for small progress is just not my jam. That includes multiplayer grindathons, MMOs and roguelikes/lites.

I guess as I got older, time became more and more of a previous commodity and feeling like I’m not moving forward in an experience kills it for me.

Nothing against the game. Just not for me.
