You can use Voyager on the desktop too, but there’s a lot of wasted real estate.
Try Alexandrite, it’s what I use and it’s awesome. Just log in with your instance and credentials, and you’re good to go.
NOTE: Most larger instances have alternative interfaces like Alexandrite and others built right in. Check the sidebar on the main page of your instance to see what might be available.
No one wants to “accidentally” fall out of a window?
It’s known as a trial balloon. “Oh, I was only joking! Unless you’re fine with it, then I’m serious.”
I actually got that reference, and I appreciate it.
Yeah, I use Voyager on my phone, and it’s got the jump button to jump to the next parent comment. It was just muscle memory that I was trying to click on the left of the comment chain to close it like on old Reddit with RES.
I guess the one I miss the most is having a bar on the left of the posts that I can click, which will close the comments.
One of the sad things is how big he’s smiling in the picture. Looks like a jolly guy.
Thanks for pointing me to that community. I subscribed.
Thanks, I’ll look into it!
Well, anyone else, but not me. I know next to nothing - no wait, I know actual nothing - about coding.
I love your trademark symbol on “soon”. Made me genuinely laugh!
Maybe I’m missing it, but I don’t see the option for infinite scroll anywhere. How do I add that?
I’m guessing it’s that, along with a healthy dose of trying to delay things as long as he can, hoping he can win the next election and make all his legal problems go away.
I was so upset about it that I almost de-Googled. And I was all-in on the Google ecosystem. In the end I begrudgingly continued on because I didn’t have the time or energy to find replacements for everything.
But yes, I’m still angry over it. I like NewsBlur, it does everything I need, but I still miss Google Reader, and I would go back to it in a second.
Maybe it’s that giant migrant caravan that kept heading our way from Mexico every 2 years during election cycles. Fox “News” would show video and claim they were coming to cross the border to steal your jobs, molest your kids, and kick your dogs. After the elections, the caravan mysteriously disappeared.
Seriously, I saw it again last year for the third time, and I wondered, “How many times are Republicans gonna fall for this?!”
But it seems like that would reduce their business. 🤷🏻♂️
I use uBlock Origin on my computer, so I don’t see any ads.
