Ms Rachel does the “for the children” stuff earnestly and righteously. She does a lot of charity and advocacy work for children. She’s been a big supporter of children in Gaza, the children of the Dilley detention center, and more recently she’s been calling for justice for Nolan Wells. Out of everyone who I’ve ever heard the “for the children” rhetoric, she means it.

Having a (nonthreatening) existential moment. I spend so much time putting one foot in front of the other and I just drove an hour through the middle of dense woods and all I could think is we’re not supposed to be here.
