  • I’m only commenting on the Steam refund part. That’s crazy to me, of all places to return games. The most relaxed has been Steam and never had any issues with them. Even if waiting a month, they normally only care how long you played it, which I think is supposed to be less than 2 hours. For comparison, I tried returning a PS5 game and was immediately denied because they claim as soon as the game is launched once they will not accept it back, which is awful.

That sucks they denied you. It really sounds like they should have let you return it.

  • Honestly, in 2019 full size bars weren’t that bad if you brought them from a place in bulk. I got mine at costco for a pretty good deal, I wanna say like 32 bars were included and it was under $30 at the time. For comparison, costco also had a giant bag of mini ones which was around $20. Because I didn’t have a huge turnout of kids I was able to get away with giving full bars for maybe $10 more than what I would’ve spent. I think it was worth it when you see the kids faces drop when they realize your house is giving away the good stuff.

With that said, chocolate has gone up a lot during the years of inflation and that same box is sadly a lot more now, so I have dropped back down to just the large bag of mini ones.

  • Servers would probably be way easier than workstations if you ask me. If they were virtual, just bring up the remote console and you can do it all remotely. Even if they were physical I would hope they have an IP KVM attached to each server so they can also remotely access them as well. 450 sucks but at least they theoretically could have done every one of them without going anywhere.

There are also options to do workstations as well, but almost nobody ever uses those services so those probably need to be touched one by one.

  • My grandparents do that. I leave it on the counter, but always say I’m going to freeze it, especially if I get it at costco, which sells you 2 loafs at a time. The only problem is I never have enough room to shove an entire loaf of bread in there. Freezer for bread is fine. If you pull out a few slices, it basically defrosts in like 10 min or use microwave for 10 seconds, and if you wanted toast, just toast it.

I just threw out an entire loaf because it was on my counter for 5 days and saw mold… must be the type of bread as well since it normally lasts weeks just fine. Since I’m always buying what’s near the cheapest that’s on sale I am always buying different brands.
