  • Ohioan here.

This came at the consequence of a nebulous “anti foreign funding” bill for ballot issues. Sounds harmless but 1) we already have laws against this and 2) republicans’ story around the abortion amendment that passed last year is that it was funded mostly by out of state entities, so we know that’s a card they want to play with more force.

Mike Dewine is a republican but is truly prolly the most moderate guy I’ve seen on that side of the aisle. He did a really good job of handling covid here, and other than the usual republican stances on weed or abortion, he’s generally likable.

That said, our republican legislature is not likable. They fought tooth and nail to keep from even having to make this decision, and when they finally did, they had to do it on their own terms.

  • I’m not sure this is the right community for this question, but as a trans woman I can offer some info.

Fat distribution in general is a result of losing and regaining fat, it’s not necessarily moving the fat you currently have. Your body naturally loses and regains fat too, regardless of exercise, and this will depend on your metabolism.

In short, if you’re looking to expedite those changes, you should seek to expedite losing your old fat patterns. If you have a fast metabolism, this usually happens naturally over several months to several years, and if you have a slower metabolism you may wanna look into fat burning exercises (that don’t focus on upper body muscle, unless you want that or if you’re FtM you may want that).

There is the concept of “weight cycling” which involves losing old fat (metabolizing or via working out) and then quickly regaining it in new areas. This works, but is NOT healthy. I mention it since you’ll almost certainly read about it, and I wanna advise you against it. Cardio and lower body workouts will help burn full body fat without weight cycling.
