Words are hard! Yeah I caught that one too, whooops. He knew he said it and talked faster afterwards to try to move past it.

Vance: Smoke and mirrors, we want to do better… but we won’t.
How is it Kamala Harris’s policies!? She’s not the president! How much power does Vance think the Vice President wields!?
Walz Pro Tip of the Day!
I was unaware that the vice president directly controls food prices.
Thank god, they actually muted!
It’s so wrong it made me question my reading comprehension and basic understanding of math.
I can’t imagine how anyone looks at Trump, and who he is as a person, then compares to Harris and still can’t decide. The choice is so painfully clear, it’s not even a choice. Trump isn’t fit for office at any level, let alone the highest office in the land.
Same here, a lot of the experience I got in customer service jobs is very relevant for talking with business users in my profession, so it’s worth bringing up in interviews, even if it doesn’t feel appropriate to list it on my resume as job experience.
I think this type of attempt at a gotcha just shows that right leaning websites/people are grasping at straws when it comes to trying to cut down Harris.
I don’t list my high school/college part time job on my professional resume either. It isn’t that I’m assumed of where I worked, or it didn’t happen, it’s just that it feels like small potatoes and not relevant to when I’m applying to a new job in my field.
I hadn’t considered the possibility of an AI trained to be a scientist until two weeks ago when a Kurzgesagt video brought it up. Funny to see that being worked on.
If sounds are coming out of his talk hole, he’s lying. On top of that, he is also deluded, he actively lies, but I think he also believes a lot of his lies because its comforting.
Being born in the 80s, I was told I was born in the nineteen hundreds. It didn’t feel great.
If a company can make a change to make more money, and they think they can get away with it, they’ll always make that change. Shit, there’s an article about Warren getting angry about digital price takes Kroger is looking at using. Their plan is to start with it to dynamically change prices of products depending on things like weather, I.E., heat wave, increase price of ice cream and ice.
They also planned to use cameras and facial recognition to analyze customers, figure out gender, age, etc, then build profiles on individual customers and how much of a price hike they could stomach and dynamically price per customer.
I mean, that’s like cartoonishly evil behavior, but they’re willing to try it if it means more money. So of course companies across the U.S. increased prices under the guise of inflation, because infinite growth is the expectation, never too much money right? Law makers will need to step in to curb some of the worst examples of all of t his greedflation.
There’s a visible hole on the inside of your lower eye lid which drains excess tears into the sinuses:
There’s A Little Hole In Your Eyelid That You Probably Never Noticed. What’s It For?
Nope, but serving in the IDF, and having some vocal opinions on the campus protests in favor of Palestine is just the thing Harris doesn’t need to be saddled with.
Oh hot damn I’m so relieved. I was pretty worried she’d go with Shapiro, and then have a solid argument against her based on his service in the Israeli military. After seeing multiple people on lemmy say “They shouldn’t choose Tim Walz… we want to keep him for our selves”, that seemed like a solid endorsement by his constituents. Then Bernie endorsed the guy, so I feel pretty damn good about this selection if it proves to be true.
What a crazy attack from Vance, why isn’t the Vice President fixing the housing crisis? Wasn’t Trump President and didn’t fix real issues with in his purview.
