I checked my discord, and i think this is a case of discords shitty ui, not changing privacy settings. Yes, my checkbox in that exact location was allowing other people to find based on phone number contamination. However, when i visited the privacy page that i did know existed, that permission was still turned off for me.

Weird, the ones on the app i’ve seen have usually been as horny as everybody else on that app. Grindr is actually a pretty okay place to find masc and transmasc people, compared to anything else i’ve used. If whattrees was serious about it, i would actually recomend grindr for them.

Business TVs exist, but theyre way more expensive, have less features you want (colors, refresh rate, etc) and are hard to find and sort based on quality. I looked up TVs on rtings and grabbed the cheapest one that fit my feature needs. It has never been connected to the internet, and i even found a setting to skip the home screen entirely and open up the last used input instead. Most of the time my last input is a tiny linux box i got from vero.

I can’t speak for the more modern cars, but my 2019 corolla had a cell phone connection which could be cut by pulling a single fuse. Idunno if it’s a universal name, but it was called the DCM module. The emergency button in the roof was wired through it, and so was one of the right speakers and the built-in microphone. None of them work with the fuse removed. I’ll route the speaker and mic wires around it at some point by going through the glove box, but it hasn’t been a priority for me.

Not at all. It just that you’re using a whitelist (subscribed communities only) while a lot of people like to browse by blacklist (allow everything new, but block specific communities).

The graduated system of adulthood in this country is very odd in many ways. The age of consent, when you’re old enough to start drawing a paycheck, when you’re allowed to start driving, when you’re allowed to start voting, and when you’re allowed to buy marajuana or alcohol are all different ages. And through all of this you’re expected to conduct yourself like an adult while your brain chemistry is going through radical changes.

I’m not so sure I completely agree. A better done graduated system could do a lot better than a single all or nothing system could. Specifically, drugs in general. It’s not just that drugs are bad or whatever. it’s that the ease with which a company can exploit a younger person, combined with the fact that under a general age the young adults are all having their brains still developed, that the cost to society for allowing drug use is a lot higher than the cost of allowing drug use for older folks.
