Snowy egret sounds fabulous! I was a flamingo last year. This year I’m working at a school, so I’m thinking I’ll be a minion.

I look like that at work too

They buzz the top of my head if I dare step outside without more food when the feeders are low
Option 3: Garlicky pickled green tomatoes
Option 4: Green tomato chutney

Does it usually come from the same number or numbers? If so, I’d block it/them and move on.
You tried your best to get them to at least contact her for updated information. Blocking the number(s) means you no longer see the confirmations and such. The only issue down the road would be you won’t get your own confirmations if you ever book with them and use that phone number.

Sounds like a great start! If that’s a current photo, I’d recommend removing the flowers from your tomatoes if you haven’t yet. Once they start flowering they tend to stop growing because they switch gears to making fruit instead. I usually just use my fingers and pinch each flower cluster off where it attaches to the tomato stem.

Ah true. I assumed there’d be violence since it’s geese lol

protect the flock from hawks and mow the yard
Such an apt description of a goose
I love that color!

Yeah I optimistically download it nearly every year and then basically never look at it from May on. But each year I do it again because I want to get more organized and deliberate with my garden.

I’ve downloaded the farmer’s almanac planting calendar, but haven’t started applying that to my planting plan yet.
I’ve also ordered and received my seeds.

I won’t start seeds for about another 2 months, so please keep me updated on your plants so I can garden vicariously until then!
I did order a micro cherry tomato variety the other day that I’m excited to try in my tabletop hydroponic setup. They’re only supposed to grow to be 9” or so tall. I’m really curious how many tomatoes such a small plant may produce. But even if it’s not many, I’m still looking forward to fresh tomatoes in winter.

I agree, toll roads charge based on the license plate or scannable toll pass. Did you have a toll pass in your old car? Even if you did, they should be able to see the license plate doesn’t match your account. Also when you called them did you call the number listed in the letter you got from them?
I would try looking up the company’s number online and calling that. Then if it is a legitimate toll charge, doing what dan1101 said should suffice. I definitely wouldn’t send them a bill of sale or other paperwork. If they’re still stubborn about it, a letter from the dealership that you traded/sold that vehicle on (date) might work.

I would like to get all these done this year:

I’ve already started the pink socks pattern, which I posted earlier this week. I think once I turn the heels I might cast on the bottom left sweater and get a start on it while finishing the socks.

Elephants seem to have a preferred tusk

Musselburgh, that’s the pattern I was trying to think of. Awesome that you made up your own, I always have to stick to a pattern

Congrats! The colors are so fun. Did you use a pattern?
I ordered another Harvest yesterday because I love how it lights up when it needs water or food (a visual reminder works better for me than a phone notification or remembering to check the base). I’ve had mine for 3 or 4 years without issue, so I’m hoping that holds true for the one I ordered.
I did find this article helpful when looking into alternatives
I didn’t know that, thanks for the heads up
Books: Narwhal and Jelly was a favorite at that age. Also if an adult reads with her, we were reading the Mercy the Pig, and Zoey and Sassafrass series at that age.
I’m pretty sure that was also about the age we got our first Snap Circuits set. It still gets pulled out and built every so often - the flying “helicopter” is still a favorite.
However, Play-Doh is one you can never go wrong with at that age.
Edit: Forgot to add that Dr. Seuss and PD Eastman books are very good for the typical 6-7 year old reading level.
