Zelda is there! Remember it’s under “Legend of Zelda.” It looks friggin’ rad in VR 3D. I’m definitely playing through this whole game like this.
The weird one for me is that Super Mario Bros 2 is missing.
I saw there’s a VR mode and couldn’t throw $15 at this fast enough. This looks phenomenal! So cool.
Thanks for posting this. Had no idea it existed.
You can play Duck Hunt with a VR Zapper. Worth $15 there alone. I’m a simple man.
Yeah, I think we should wait and see how prevalent the drifting is this time around before freaking out. Of course it’s going to happen to some people because every stick that uses this technology has some incidence of drifting, but that doesn’t mean it’s going to be as bad as last time. I have lots of these kinds of sticks on lots of gamepads over the years and only the joycons have ever drifted.
Yeah, these PC handhelds are great for us enthusiast geeks but they will never have the same allure as a Nintendo handheld with Mario, Pokemon, Zelda, Kart, and Smash to mainstream users. Nintendo’s exclusive games do have a huge pull. Switch 2 will eclipse the Steam Deck sales in mere weeks which I’m sure comes as little surprise to Valve.
Will be interesting to see how the new Xbox backed device sells since it should have more marketing muscle and the Xbox name behind it and actually be sold in common retail stores.
And it’s never been better with Stremio plus a Debrid service. App has a much more user friendly interface than that Prime trash.
I’m betting that it will be a success and keep Nintendo’s shareholders pleased but that it won’t reach the heights of its predecessor with the higher prices and the fact that the hybrid concept doesn’t exactly have the same wow factor it did 8 years ago.
I can’t really blame Nintendo on playing it safe on the system concept this time though. Coming off of their biggest hardware success of all time, they’d have to have a pretty amazing innovation to risk trying something completely new. It’s just not that easy to always have a big idea like that. I see the Switch 2 like the Super Nintendo was to the NES… and that could work just fine so long as they deliver on the games.
Agreed. LLM Ai has gotten insanely good insanely fast, and an LLM of course isn’t going to magically turn into an AGI. That’s a whole different ball game.
Good news then because Dark Ages is extremely different than Eternal and a lot of people who didn’t like that game but loved 2016 are happy with it. I’m not saying rush out and spend $70 on it, but give it a go when it’s on sale down the line and you might end up really pleased with it.
Eternal was too hard for me. Love Dark Ages.
I’m only doing the brain chip thing if it can fully transplant me to a Matrix level of simulated reality and get me out of this current hellhole permanently.
It’s true. I’m a bartender. When I serve a drink in a to-go cup I sometimes get people bitching “oh, that’s all I get?” and then I passive aggressively demonstrate to them that it’s the same as it would be in a pint glass but it’s just shorter and wider.
“We?” Hell no. Some of y’all maybe.
I sleep with earplugs in because I work nights and have no idea when the HOA maintenance people are going to start blowing those things at 8 in the fucking morning.
I rather gladly take my free games from them.
Used to be thrilled with the situation keeping game prices down since I have never personally spent a cent on horse armor. Guess that only worked for so long sadly.
Yeah? I’ll buy it when it’s on sale for $35 and they’ll profit, so it’s all good. Patience is a virtue and all that.
Love my Deck and think the handheld PC format is awesome… but Nintendo has nothing to worry about. Switch 2 is going to far outsell these devices. It’s much more appealing to mainstream audiences, it’ll be heavily marketed, and it has Mario, Zelda, and Pokemon.
I don’t even have a console unless they plan on releasing it on Switch 2… so yeah, it’s gonna be a longer wait and I’m okay with that.
Right? I’ve already put more time into R.E.P.O. than most AAA games I’ve purchased in the last decade. It was $10 and is still in early access with more content coming.
The only situation where I’ll be forced into $80 is with Nintendo games I really, really want. I’ll be very discerning there though, probably only buying 2-3 a year on Switch 2. Cream of the crop. Pretty much every other publisher will drop their game prices significantly within a year. Then of course there’s also FitGirl…
Then pirates will just get smarter. No way for them to see who is watching all of these movies with their VPN and Debrid service.
