The For-Profit prison system is violence. The stripping of environmental protections is violence. The stripping of food safety regulations is violence. The shooting of protestors is violence. The beating of protestors is violence. The use of chemical warfare against the public is violence. The installation of spy cameras to limit free movement is violence.

Violence is fine as long as it is committed by the state to enforce the status quo and further the interests of the elite.
