Just another grifter loser pushing racist coonery bullshit to sell his soul to achieve success/power while also appealing to people’s gross homo/transphobia to fear monger to kiss the ass of a broke ass white dude who sits at the top of the conservative Ponzi scheme.

Fuck this dude and all like he, Trump, and all of their allies and minions.

A vice presidential contender for former President Donald Trump’s 2024 ticket is facing backlash over his comments suggesting that life was better for Black Americans under Jim Crow.

Representative Byron Donalds is being criticized over comments he made Tuesday at a Trump campaign in Philadelphia aimed at engaging Black voters. During his remarks, Donalds, who is Black, said he is starting to see the “reinvigoration of the Black family,” which he believes was eroded by Democratic policies that Black voters embraced after the civil rights movement.

“You see, during Jim Crow, the Black family was together. During Jim Crow, more Black people were not just conservative—Black people have always been conservative-minded—but more Black people voted conservatively,” Donalds said. “And then [the former Department of Health, Education and Welfare], Lyndon Johnson—you go down that road, and now we are where we are.”

Black VP contender touting the positives of Jim Crow and a black Supreme Court Justice wanting to revisit a landmark desegregation case? The GOP is a cult, straight up!

There is no way Trump will have him be VP. He’s too racist.

Edit: sorry this was poorly worded. Trump is too racist.

But Uncle Ruckus is white and has a skin problem. This is more like Stephen from Django unchained, which is even crazier.

And women were better off before they could vote and children were better off before child labor laws and society was better off when the guy with the greatest penchant for violence was in charge.

He’s from florida. You can’t have a VP nominee and a presidential nominee from the same state. And trump ain’t from NY. Easy solution.

I just came here to say this guy’s beard is not right for his head. The rounded lines accentuate the roundness of his baby-like cheeks. Needs more angles.

This is the best summary I could come up with:

A vice presidential contender for former President Donald Trump’s 2024 ticket is facing backlash over his comments suggesting that life was better for Black Americans under Jim Crow.

Representative Byron Donalds is being criticized over comments he made Tuesday at a Trump campaign in Philadelphia aimed at engaging Black voters.

The Jim Crow era involved segregation laws that were enforced in schools, employment, housing, transportation and public facilities and institutionalized racial discrimination across the nation, particularly in the South.

“Dumb MAGA jacka-- Byron Donalds is trying to imply that life was better for black people under Jim Crow,” a third person posted.

Trump was found guilty last week by a Manhattan jury on all 34 felony counts of falsifying business records in relation to hush money paid to former adult film star Stormy Daniels.

On Wednesday, the Democratic National Committee’s rapid response director, Alex Floyd, took aim at Donalds’ comments, arguing that it showed how the Trump campaign viewed Black voters as a whole.

One can’t help but wonder if these easily avoidable public gaffs are purposeful to avoid being tapped to be trump VPs. They would likely be compelled to not say no, else he couple mobilize the MAGAts against you politically. At best it’s probably a dead end political position that could consume the remainder of your political career, at worst he may entice a mob to try to kill you.

    Here’s what he actually said:

They’re trying to say that I said, ‘Black people were doing better under Jim Crow.’ I never said that. They are lying. But why would you be surprised? They always lie," Donalds said.

“What I said was, you had more Black families under Jim Crow, and it was the Democrat policies under H.E.W., under the welfare state that did help to destroy the Black family,” the Republican clarified.

What he said is simple and hard to get wrong. The people who are getting it wrong are lying, on purpose, about what he said.

Wow. People literally just cannot tell the truth about what this man said.

The article is full of deliberate misinterpretations of his point. It’s ridiculous, and I don’t know how people aren’t disgusted by it…
