    One of the more troubling things for me is that he probably didn’t even need to do anything; it’s terrifying, but truth is his followers are so radicalized that these kinda stories might not have had any negative effect on his campaign…

      This analysis isn’t about the political impact, so much as the legal value. Getting evidence and testimony that will stand up to appeal is important if Trump is convicted.

        OP isn’t talking about case ramifications, they’re talking about the need to cover this up to begin with. His supporters like that he’s a scumbag, this would have likely resulted in more votes in his favor in 2016 had it come out then.

      With all of this out and in the open, Trump is polling well ahead of Biden in some battleground states.
