    I once read “anything worth doing is worth doing poorly” and that flipped my world upside down.

    Sure, sometimes you want to out in the extra work for “good” or even “great”, but sometimes “it is” it’s totally fine. Sometimes I cook a nice dinner, sometimes a plate of pasta with canned sauce is fine. Sometimes just doing something is totally okay, however it comes out.

        Somehow I had heard that variant, but to me it still sounded like “do it at best you can, even if it’s not absolutely perfect”, so it was still a push to reach higher.

      It’s so hard for perfectionists. I honestly think most of us are autistic and it comes from that rigid thinking.
