Saw it on the worlds tallest imax and I just kept thinking about how it took $250 million, massive practical effects, location shots, some of the best talent in hollywood, the biggest cameras, the biggest and best film, based on a story that literally coined the term “epic” all just to make the world’s okay-est movie.
That’s it. It was fine.
Once again, the only thing I know about this movie is that it was filmed in occupied Western Sahara, and that the US now supports Morocco’s territorial claims over their land.
That’s what really soured it for me as well.
