LAPD killed a woman’s dog on Friday. The officers showed up 20 deep w/ a helicopter over a noise complaint. LAPD claims the dog “charged” at them. The labradoodle was wearing a Knick’s jersey, too.

Animal control brought in a small Cairn or Australian Terrier into the shelter I work at and labeled it extremely dangerous cause it bit the officer arresting its owner and made the poor little piggy cry. All cops are cowards
So, “fun” thing. I was looking for research on how police dogs are mistreated and instead got page after page within the last two years of cops killing their own police dogs for various shitty reason. Various states too.
And morons. About 25yrs ago I was at a protest where a cop with a dog was needlessly agitating his dog to get it to bark and lunge at people who were not even remotely violent or pushing it at the time. He worked the dog up too much and it turned on him, latched onto his forearm and drug him down. Another cop rushed over and ripped the dog off, which resulted in opening that dude’s arm up like he’d slit his wrist. Now they’re both screaming, blood is spraying, uninjured cop is uselessly flailing and calling for help, no tourniquet, no pressure, just helpless panic as the other one bleeds out and falls unconscious.
I am saddened about the police pup though, they give off the same sad vibe as child soldiers forced into something they don’t understand nor should be in

guys who routinely employ dogs specifically bred and trained for aggression are afraid of actual pet dogs
