I think a lot of people from twitter made accounts ( I know I’m guilty) because we all thought twitter was legit about to disappear into an internet sinkhole
but when it didnt I think the quirks of mastadon kept a lot of people from spending the time to find everyone all over again.
Ah, I see. I was honestly never much of a Twitter user but the Mastodon concept really interested me. I’ve been on hachyderm.io since the Twitter takeover but have been on there far more this week since I am no longer on Reddit.
What happened to Mastodon? The community I’m in seems fairly active.

It is not populated now as much as Elon took over Twitter days.
