Jerboa & thunder app for android doesn’t work very well yet. On jerboa couldn’t even log into my account, on thunder posts & comments didn’t load. On firefox mobile cross logging doesn’t seem to work for me. Experience not smooth at all. I’m pretty sure it’ll be fixed soon.
*I was doing it wrong (on Firefox mobile), I needed to subscribe on lemmy.world to community I wanted to interact with (burger menu --> 3 horizontal lines, communities, find your community) & then was able to make a comments on another one. Can’t do cross signings for now, I believe.
My experience has been good with Jerboa :O I do remember some part of the UI feeling a bit janky, though… I find it mostly pretty good. Do wish I could slide right to go back instead of reaching for the top left or the bottom navigation bar with my terrible thumb control.
I hope you manage to get logged in somehow. I’m using Jerboa, and it is not as bare bones as I imagined it’d be considering how few people have been in the process of creating it.

I’m on Jerboa right now on Android on a Pixel 6a and swiping works properly with no jankyness to speak of. I guess I got lucky.

I’m logged into 3 lemmy instances on Jerboa.
Could it be that your user is on a kbin instance? Afaik Jerboa doesn’t work with kbin, I at least, haven’t been able to log in with it
