Nothing important here. I just want to see how many people are moving away from Reddit.

To be perfectly honest, while the growth and inclusiveness is welcome, the thing I like best about it is the phase the fledgling community is with regards to civility and more thoughtful discussion. It’s great to see how engaged the S76 staff are here, but also how everyone here is looking for that breath of fresh air. I’m sure there will be issues later on with the growth, but for now I’m just trying to enjoy this.

I honestly have to credit the /r/pop_os/ sub for directing me here while the blackouts were in full effect. Lemmy and the Fediverse are turning out to be just the place we’ve all been looking for. Decentralized servers, different viewpoint acceptance, multiple alternatives to instances, and a warm welcome. Ruud is putting a lot of effort into this and it shows. The admins for lemmy.world have also made a great initial impression.
